FilObsys, the observatory of your supply chain

A flow study answers once. An observatory answers every year, to every member, every elected official, every journalist. FilObsys is the joint offer of Dynartio and TerriFlux to build and run the observatory of your supply chain or your territory. The offer is currently presented in French.

What a supply chain observatory is for

In most supply chains the figures exist but are scattered between members' declarations, public databases and a few old studies. Rebuilding a consolidated order of magnitude takes days. The observatory keeps them up to date, sourced, in one place.

Speak with one voice

Consolidated figures on volumes, actors and markets, carried by the chain itself towards public authorities and the press.

Anticipate

See competing uses, supply tensions and crises coming before they impose themselves.

Secure investments

Size a processing unit, a service or a territorial project on measured flows, not on impressions.

Showcase local actors

A directory of the territory's actors and resources, linked to the flows they produce and process.

What FilObsys brings together

Two open-source tools and the two teams that develop them. Dynartio brings Sinamet and the running of territorial observatories; TerriFlux brings OpenSankey, data reconciliation and fifteen years of flow studies.

Sinamet, data and actors

One database gathering heterogeneous sources, a directory of actors with profiles and a map, a content management system to publish articles and analyses. Sinamet by Dynartio.

OpenSankey, flows and map

The chain's flows as interactive Sankey diagrams, laid over the map when territory matters, reconciled when sources disagree, every figure traced to its source. What OpenSankey does.

Running it

An observatory lives through its contributors: steering committee, yearly collection, restitutions, narrative. Both teams support the chain over time.

Sankey diagram laid over a regional map: flows between departments, drawn with OpenSankey

Map and Sankey together: click a territory, see its flows. The view territorial observatories ask for most.

Three levels of engagement

Pilot

One supply chain, one territory, your existing data. First deliverables within two months, to decide on the next step with evidence in hand.

quick start

Reference

The chain's reference observatory: dedicated interface, steering committee, multi-year contract for animation, data and support.

multi-year

Premium

A multi-chain meta-observatory for a region or a metropolis, aligned with its strategies: energy, circular economy, food.

regional scale

FilObsys qualifies for French public procurement of innovative solutions: up to €100,000 excl. VAT, a public body may contract without prior advertising or competition.

What the offer builds on

FilObsys is not a promise on paper: each of its building blocks already runs somewhere.

SOCLE, all of French agriculture

Fourteen agricultural supply chains, 51 reconciled diagrams, a reference maintained from one season to the next. TerriFlux study for ADEME. See the publication.

BACCFIRE, the forest-wood chain

Wood flows in France, from forest to finished products, with the carbon storage that follows. TerriFlux study with ONF, IGN and FCBA. See the publication.

OFALIM, food flows of the Vosges

The observatory of territorial food flows carried by the Pays de la Déodatie and INRAE, deployed by Dynartio on Sinamet: directory, actor profiles, articles.

More public studies are in the gallery.

Who it is for

Interbranch organisations, federations and trade unions, local authorities and development agencies, clusters: any body that has to turn scattered data into shared knowledge, and keep it current.

How it starts

A twenty-minute call on your chain's issues, then a demonstration on a sample of your data. Write to contact@filobsys.fr, or directly to Julien Alapetite.
