SOCLE
🌐 FR|EN

The fourteen SOCLE supply-chain balances assembled into a single view: plant matter, livestock farming and animal processing, animal matter, from their resources to their uses.

  • Plant supply chain (origin): all chains, by chain and sub-chain; animal co-products (processed animal proteins, whey…) returning to livestock farming.
  • Animal supply chain: dairy, beef, pork, sheep and goat meat, horse meat, poultry, eggs, pet food, aquaculture.
  • Allocation of animal feed between animal supply chains: ORIFLAAM or MAELE keys.
  • Years 2015, 2019, 2023; units raw kt, kt dry matter, kt MSU, kt protein, kt fat, PJ, kt raw-material equivalent.

Livestock farming is not balanced: it receives animal feed and produces animals, milk and eggs; the gap (metabolism, manure, water) is deliberate. For fodder and straw, raw kt = kt dry matter.
